Terms of Service for stene.xyz

Welcome to stene.xyz! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use 
of the stene.xyz website and services ("Service"), provided by Johnny 
Stene. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them 
carefully.

1. Description of Service
stene.xyz provides several online features, including, but not limited to,
online file hosting, web site hosting, video games, and temporary online file
hosting.

2. User Responsibilities
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- You are solely responsible for the content you upload and share using 
  stene.xyz.

3. Prohibited Uses
- You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. By 
  using the Service, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and 
  regulations in your jurisdiction.
- You may not upload or share any content that is illegal in Canada or 
  violates any Canadian laws or regulations.
- You may not use an automated system, including but not limited to, 
  scripts, bots, scrapers, or other software, to access the Service except
  through officially provided websites, clients, or APIs.

The source code for the stene.xyz website and its web-based services is 
publicly available at https://github.com/stene-xyz/web, or upon request 
(see Section 9: Contact Us for details). You are free to redistribute 
and/or modify the code under the terms of the GNU General Public License, 
as published by the Free Software Foundation, either version 3 of the 
License, or (at your option) any later version.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties 
of any kind, either express or implied. Johnny Stene disclaims all 
warranties, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of 
merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Johnny Stene be liable for any direct, indirect, 
incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including, but
not limited to, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible
losses, resulting from: 
(i) your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the Service; 
(ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; 
(iii) any content obtained from the Service; and
(iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or 
     content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including 
     negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not you have 
     informed Johnny Stene of the possibility of such damage, and even if a 
     remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential 
     purpose.

7. Modification of Terms
Johnny Stene reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. 
It is your sole responsibility to regularly review these terms in case of any
updates.

8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws
of Alberta, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Self-Hosting and Scope of Terms
This website and its associated Terms and Conditions apply solely to use of 
the Service as hosted by Johnny Stene at stene.xyz. If you obtain and run a 
self-hosted instance of the software under the terms of the GNU General Public 
License v3.0 (or later), these Terms and Conditions do not apply to your use 
of that self-hosted instance. While you are free to use, modify, and distribute 
the software as permitted under the GPL, we do not provide warranties, support, 
or assume any liability for self-hosted versions.

11. Trademarks and Branding
The names, logos, branding, and domain names associated with stene.xyz are not 
included under the GPL-3.0 license and may not be used in publicly available 
instances or derivative works without express written permission. This includes 
using confusingly similar names or visual branding that may mislead users into 
believing a self-hosted deployment is affiliated with or officially supported by 
Johnny Stene.

By using stene.xyz, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not 
agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
